Indoor Environmental Quality affects the health of building occupants.Meanwhile, the growing number of green office buildings in Jakarta is quite increasing in line with the policy of reducing carbon emissions. However, this trend is still focused on environmental impacts and has not paid much attention to the aspects of the occupants in the building. This study aims to identify the reliability of the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) performance of green buildings based on the perception of occupants in office buildings in Jakarta. The research methodology used is a mixed quantitative and qualitative method. Data was collected through literature studies, distributing close-ended questionnaires to building occupants and open-ended interviews to green building experts. Data analysis used distribution analysis, mean analysis and analysis of variance for quantitative data and content analysis, namely open coding for qualitative data. The results of the open coding analysis show that the green building IEQ criteria have advantages in indicators and technology in assessing performance and play a role in controlling risk compared to the non-green building IEQ criteria. The results of the quantitative analysis show that the average perception of green building occupants is higher only on the visual environment parameters, namely natural lighting, lighting distribution and lighting levels. While the acoustic parameters, thermal environment and air quality there is no significant difference in perception between green office buildings and non-green buildings. The context variable, namely the distance between the seat and window has a relationship with natural lighting and the personal variable, namely the origin of domicile, is related to the glare of artificial lighting. Planner factors and building users play a role in optimizing the implementation of the IEQ criteria. Planners need to consider aspects of health, comfort and reliability of the building since the beginning of designing the building. Meanwhile, building occupants are generally used to and accept the minimum standards of the IEQ criteria. Based on the research results, both green and non-green buildings need to meet the IEQ criteria because this is related to the health of the occupants and the reliability of the building in general. text
