For the smoothness, safety, and improvement of shipping activities, it is necessary to do dredging project of navigation channel and turning basin at Sei Berombang Port which can facilitate ships that will berth without depending on tides. This Final Project will discuss the layout design of navigation channel and turning basin, estimation of dredging volume, estimation of dredging project duration, and estimation of dredging project cost. From the design results, navigation channel has a depth of 2.0 meters from LWS, a width of 45.0 meters, and a seabed slope of 1:3. Meanwhile, the turning basin has a depth of 2.0 meters from LWS and a diameter of 55.0 meters. By using cross section method, the estimated dredged volume is 1,000,969.50 ????3. The dredging project will be carried out by 1 unit of CSD “B250 – Banter Minimax”, 1 unit of backhoe dredger “Rhea”, and 1 unit of backhoe dredger “BDC 29” with the support of 19 unit of tugboats and 19 unit of split hopper barges. The dredging project has 148 days work duration, including mobilization and demobilization with an estimated project cost of Rp168,962,921,177 or Rp168,799/????3. text
