Description
Summary:The city is basically a social construction that is formed and can be reshaped from human interaction and continues to change according to ongoing conditions. The provision of urban facilities is not only a basis for meeting the needs of the community but also for carrying out city functions. The COVID-19 pandemic is causing significant changes to the city. The right way is to rebuild infrastructure by looking to current conditions and improving urban living conditions, so that the quality of life in urban areas can return to normal and become better. Thus, a study is needed to see the extent of changes in accessibility in the city of Bandung during the COVID-19 pandemic to then provide appropriate recommendations for the rebuilding of the city of Bandung. The purpose of this study was to identify changes in accessibility during the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Bandung. This research is exploratory research using a quantitative and spatial approach. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics, spatial analysis, and by using spatial lag regression. The results of this study can be seen that by using the spatial lag regression method, it was found that there was a change in accessibility in the city of Bandung during the COVID-19 pandemic with condition H0 rejected, but less significant. This is because each accessibility model has different significance variable results and most of it is only the rho variable, which only explains changes in accessibility in an urban area that are influenced by changes in accessibility in other surrounding areas or villages. Thus, recommendations are needed to accommodate changes in accessibility in the city of Bandung due to the COVID-19 pandemic so that the provision of facilities and infrastructure can reach the entire community.
