DEVELOPMENT OF THE OPEN-SOURCES INVERSION MODULE OF MULTICHANNEL ANALYSIS OF SURFACE WAVES (MASW) IN SEIRA SOFTWARE TO DETERMINED VELOCITY MODEL OF SURFACE WAVES VS30

Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) data processing has been widely used to obtain the average seismic velocity structure for depth of up to 30 meters (Vs30) by utilizing surface wave recordings. The Vs30 velocity profile is one of the fundamental parameters in the geotechnical field. T...

The Vs30 velocity profile is one of the fundamental parameters in the geotechnical field. The Vs30 model can provide information about soil characteristics and can be used to design and predict dynamic interaction of soil structures due to dynamic loading. The limitations of the tools that can be used for data processing in an open-source and easy-to-use (user-friendly) are still a challenge in the application of this MASW method. Based on this condition, the development of an application module that is integrated into the SEIRA application, which has been previously developed is expected to provide an alternative to solving problems in the geotechnical field, especially in soil classification based on seismic recording data. Analysis of the dispersion curve and the inverted Vs30 profile model using the damped least-square inversion (DLS) method on synthetic and field data was carried out to validate the performance of this developed software. text
