Several brands produced by PT PTI are Wardah, Make Over, Emina and Kahf. PT PTI has several factories and one of them is the J2 factory. An ineffective process at this factory is the delivery of packaging (cosmetics) from the unboxing zone to the filling machine zone. This problem is also something that must be solved by the author and the team as a series of final projects in the electrical engineering study program. To solve this problem, the author and team built an automatic guided vehicle that can deliver goods from the unloading zone to the filling machine zone. The vehicle works by following the line located on the factory floor. This line is created from the unboxing zone path to the filling machine. In the vehicle, there is a processing unit process whose task is to detect lines, detect obstacles, provide robot speed, form a Human Machine Interface (HMI) and also provide state machines to the robot. The processing unit on the automated integrated vehicle uses the Jetson Nano TX2 using the Robot Operating System (ROS) framework. The code created generally uses C++ and Python. The author implements it entirely into the computer and the computer will give the right commands for the robot's functionality. The robot that has been made can deliver the packaging box to the desired place. The robot manages to follow the lines laid out on the factory floor and can carry up to 150kg of partitions. text |

PT Paragon Technology and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as PT PTI) is a
company engaged in national cosmetic manufacturing. Several brands produced
by PT PTI are Wardah, Make Over, Emina and Kahf. PT PTI has several factories
and one of them is the J2 factory. An ineffective process at this factory is the delivery
of packaging (cosmetics) from the unboxing zone to the filling machine zone. This
problem is also something that must be solved by the author and the team as a series
of final projects in the electrical engineering study program.
To solve this problem, the author and team built an automatic guided vehicle that
can deliver goods from the unloading zone to the filling machine zone. The vehicle
works by following the line located on the factory floor. This line is created from
the unboxing zone path to the filling machine. In the vehicle, there is a processing
unit process whose task is to detect lines, detect obstacles, provide robot speed,
form a Human Machine Interface (HMI) and also provide state machines to the
robot.
The processing unit on the automated integrated vehicle uses the Jetson Nano TX2
using the Robot Operating System (ROS) framework. The code created generally
uses C++ and Python. The author implements it entirely into the computer and the
computer will give the right commands for the robot's functionality.
The robot that has been made can deliver the packaging box to the desired place.
The robot manages to follow the lines laid out on the factory floor and can carry
up to 150kg of partitions. |
