PT X SALES DASHBOARD DESIGN WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOETIX, TURBAN, AND USER-CENTRIC METHOD

PT X is a company specialized in the sales of chemical-based product that has been established since 1977. In doing the sales process, PT X has a division of sales and marketing with duty of carrying the sales process. However, the manager of division of sales and marketing currently has difficulties in taking insight based on the sales results that has been done. These difficulties are due to lack of the manager ability in developing a system that can support in getting insight, such as use of dashboard. Other than lack of ability, these difficulties is also caused because of the dashboard development method that are too different one the other and not being developed for quite some time. Based on that reason, research which aims to develop the dashboard development method is conducted. This dashboard development method is done by searching and combining suitable method to fulfill the needs of PT X. In this research, there are 6 methods that are used as base comparison and development. Based on the result of suitability identification with company condition, there are 3 methods that can be used as base to develop dashboard for PT X. These methods are Noetix method, Turban method and User-Centric method. These methods combined to fulfill the needs of PT X in developing dashboard and appropriate for sales and manager division. Dashboard prototype development is being done with Microsoft Excel VBA and has 3 main focuses, that are customer, product, and salesman.
