Estimation of forest stand potency through IKONOS satellite image analysis done to know level of accuracy and obtains estimation method of forest stand potency. Research done by analyzing relation between field survey data (stem diameter, tree height, crown diameter and number of trees) with image interpretation result data(crown diameter and number of trees). <br />

Result of this research indicates that IKONOS satellite image able to predict stand potency variables in field (tree height and tree stem diameter). There is correlation either between tree amounts in field with result from image interpretation and between stem diameters with crown diameter result from interpretation of IKONOS satellite image.
