from ITB. It is also a fact that studentss achievement in Course MA1122 Calculus <br />

I has a big influence in studentss achievement in Course MA1222 Calculus II. So <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
that, we need a good policy to reduce the number of students who were dropped out <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
because can not pass the course in the permitted period. This final project discusses <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
some actions that can be applied to help students in doing the course. By collecting <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
some data, we can study the impact of any action to the students achievement. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Moreover, a mathematical model in determination of the optimal policy is derived <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
based on Markov Decision Theory. This model is solved by using Police Iteration <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Method, and we obtain the optimal policy and its average cost. |
