INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/68848 The construction sector statistically one of the most dangerous industries in many countries, in addition to the impact that causes a humanitarian tragedy, accidents that occur in the construction sector also have an impact on project schedule delays, increase project costs, and able to reduce the reputation and image of contractors. The Ministry of Manpower Republic Indonesia with ASEAN-OSHNET responded to this by planning research related to the impact of the implementation of the OSH program on the construction sector. The existence of the OSH program is able to reduce the number of work accidents in the construction sector, so it is concluded that there is a need for an economic evaluation of the implementation of the OSH program in the construction sector in Indonesia and Thailand, as well as an evaluation of the cost and benefit components of the implementation of the OSH program that is able to increase the value of the benefit-cost ratio OSH program. The cost benefit analysis method is one of the techniques that can be used to evaluate the impact in the form of costs avoided and the benefits obtained from an activity to be carried out or potential benefit. Currently, there is no quantification tool that can be used to evaluate the effects of the OSH program, especially in the construction sector. This research was conducted to produce a calculation of the benefit-cost ratio of the implementation OSH program through a questionnaire test, and the evaluation results on the components costs and benefits implementing the OSH program. Research respondents are 12 construction companies, namely 6 companies from Indonesia and 6 other companies from Thailand. The result in study is the highest cost-benefit ratio value of 6.0855 and the lowest cost-benefit ratio value of 0.2186. The average BCR value for all companies is 1.8374, while the average BCR value for Indonesian companies is 2.4497 and for Thailand companies is 1.2250. Evaluation of the quantification of the cost and benefit components shows the increase cost-benefit ratio for the entire company. text
