Summary: | The study area for this final project is a priority village for the Citarum Harum Program in Bojongsoang District which is under the authority of the Satgas Sector 6. The waste generation in the study area in 2022 will reach 19.10 tons/day and is projected to reach 30.90 tons/day in 2043 with the percentage of household waste is 95.48%. The composition of waste in the study area is dominated by organic waste at 61.22% (kitchen waste 59.58% and leaf/plant waste 1.64%), followed by plastic waste at 18.25%, and paper waste at 10.51%. Inorganic and hazardous waste is planned to be handled at TPS 3R Bagja and TPS 3R Berkah Sari, while organic waste is fully handled at the BSF Plant. The capacity of the BSF Plant is 17.97 tons/day of organic waste with a land requirement of 3,471 m2 and the resulting product is 5.63 tons/day of compost and 1.18 dry BSF larvae with processing residue of 0.63 tons/day. The results of the economic feasibility analysis of BSF Plant based on NPV (Net Present Value) are positive in all product sales scenarios. In scenario 1 (optimistic) with 70% compost product sold and 90% dry BSF larvae the positive NPV produced is Rp 207,798,579,402 with land purchase and Rp 223,070,887,402 without land purchase in 20 years. Scenario 2 (moderate) with 60% dry BSF larvae sold and 50% compost, positive NPV of Rp 130,882,457,334 with land purchase and Rp 146,154,765,334 with land purchase in 20 years. While in scenario 3 (pessimistic) with 30% compost products sold and 40% dry BSF larvae, the positive NPV was Rp 78,059,437,157 with land purchases and Rp 93,331,745,157 without land purchases. A positive BSF Plant NPV value indicates that the planned BSF Plant can provide income, not only as a public service facility. The contribution of the BSF Plant in reducing greenhouse gas emissions reached 30,853.64 kgCO2eq/day. |
