Indonesia as a large archipelagic country requires good inter-island liaisons so that it can develop into a more developed country and be able to compete economically with other countries. The government issued Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2020 concerning the National Medium-Term Development Plan for 2020-2024 to improve the competitiveness of ports in Indonesia. The 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) also regulates the development of the Batam-Bintan area in which there is the development of Batu Ampar Port facilities as well as the development of domestic and international passenger port facilities. This final project will discuss the design of a container berth at the northern berth of Batu Ampar Harbor which has a deck on pile type of berth. The berth design refers to the British Standard, the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The work on this final project will cover secondary data processing, modeling with SAP2000 software, calculation of structural element reinforcement, soil bearing capacity analysis, and berth cost estimation. The output of the SAP2000 modeling will be checked for the UCR value. The structure meets the requirements when the UCR value is in the range of 0.8 to 1.0 and the deflection value is below the maximum allowable limit. The structure reaction will be used for the soil bearing capacity analysis. The volume of reinforcement and material in the berth will be calculated and used for estimating the cost of the berth. The results of the design of the berth produce dimensions with a length of 290 m and a width of 22.5 m. The berth has an elevation of +4.71 m from the LWS with a water depth of -11 from the LWS. Structural elements on the designed berth consist of beams, plates, piles, and pile caps. The piles used in this study have dimensions with a diameter of 700 mm and a thickness of 20 mm. The depth of the pile obtained from the analysis of the bearing capacity of the soil is at -18.5 m from the seabed. The estimated cost of the berth material has a value of Rp.387,551,175,892.64. The result of this final project is a design plan in the form of the dimensions of the berth plan, mooring and anchoring facilities, the dimensions of the structural elements of the berth, the design of the reinforcement for the structural elements of the berth, the depth of pile driving, and the estimated cost of the berth material. text
