INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/68946 Kijing Terminal is one of the terminals in Port of Pontianak which is the economic gateway in West Kalimantan. The construction of the Kijing Terminal is one of the national strategic projects and is a form of solution to the inability of the Dwikora Terminal to handle large ships. In the port operational activity plan, it will certainly cause several environmental problems that affect the quality of water, energy, air, noise, and waste management. The Green Port concept is applied as a measure to reduce the impact of environmental damage. Indonesia is currently also committed to implementing net zero emissions by 2060 and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2030. This issue is made a priority issue in the Indonesian G20 2022. This thesis discusses about application of the Green Port concept at Kijing Terminal with the electrification of container crane and handling equipment to achieve net zero emission in the port environment, both the berth area and the stacking yard area. The choice of electrical equipment also affects the layout design and operating system as well as container handling rates. From the design process that has been carried out, the container handling capacity at the berth is 2,355,371 TEUs/year and 2,375,805 TEUs/year in the stacking yard area. The application of the Green Port concept as a result of the design can also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 15-70% and can save fuel costs by up to 76.97% when compared to the use of ordinary equipment. text
