This port is projected as a port that will receive demand in the form of container goods and human passengers. In the design of this port, the largest design vessel considered is 50,000 DWT. The scope of structural design is limited to the design of pier and trestle structures. The wharf structure which has a size of 320 meters x 50 meters will be dilated into 4 separate sections. Meanwhile, the trestle structure has dimensions of 880 meters x 15 meters and will be dilated into 22 separate parts. The dilation will be connected with an expansion joint. In the structural design process, modeling is done using the SAP2000 software. Structurally, both the pier and the trestle will be designed as a deck-on pile structure. The calculated loads include berthing loads from ships, mooring loads when the ship rests on the pier, current loads, wave loads, earthquake loads, other additional dead loads such as fender loads and bollard loads, and live loads such as truck loads and crane loads. The fender and bollard components are determined according to the required force due to the ship on the dock. After all the loads work on the pier and trestle structures according to the combination of loading on ASCE 7-10 both LRFD and ASD, structural analysis needs to be carried out such as checking the shape of the various structures, axial and lateral soil bearing capacity, and deflection of structural elements. The combination of LRFD loading is used as a design reference from the structural aspect which includes the structural deflection value limit and the reinforcement detailing process for structural elements. While the ASD loading will be used as a reference for loading which will be used as the basic value for calculating the geotechnical field analysis, namely the carrying capacity of the land permit. text
