Summary: | Foundation and basement excavation design are one of sub-structure worls that
are carried out in the building design. The Jurangmangu Station redesign project
comprise of two main building, station bulding and food court building. Station
building has five typical floors while food court building has two basement floor
and two typical floors.
The soil condition in project site is consisted of clay soil layer and sand soil layer
with hard soil layer located at 9-12 m deep. The foundation design was carried out
using a drilled pile foundation with diameter of 800 mm and 1000 mm. Three types
of foundation configuration are used in this design, that is B-1000, C-800 and C-
1000. Foundation analysis was carried out through manual calculations and LPILE
and GROUP software in analyzing the lateral capacity of single piles and pile
groups. The settlement analysis observed are elastic settlement, consolidation, and
differential settlement through manual calculation.
The design of the 6 m depp excavation was carried out using diaphragm wall with
a single layer of ground anchorage at the elevation of -2 m. Analysis of global
stability and lateral deformation was carried out using PLAXIS 2D. |
