Description
Summary:Violation of the ITE Law is one of the crimes that occur due to increasing technological advances. Research on the timing of reports of violations of the ITE Law is useful for providing additional information to the police. The data used is data on violations of the ITE Law that occurred in the city of Bandung from April 2020 to January 2021. In this data, there are two places where reports are received, namely the West Java Regional Police and Bandung Police. From the reporting time data, it can be obtained the time between reports (TBR) at the Regional Police and at the Polrestabes. The distribution model of TBR West Java Regional Police and TBR Bandung Police was chosen from three possible distributions, namely Weibull, Gamma, and Lognormal distributions. Determination of parameter values is carried out using the maximum likelihood method, while to test the suitability of the model with TBR data, the Anderson-Darling test is used. From the distribution model obtained, the type of distribution tail will be determined through the supremum and infimum value approaches, namely by comparing the inferior or superior limit values of the distribution's survival function with the inferior or superior limit values of the exponential function.
