This is evidenced by the production of catfish in 2021, which reached 1000,647 tons with the largest contributor to production coming from West Java Province, at as much as 268.6 tons. Freshwater fish farming production is carried out by MSMEs, with a percentage of 31.3% of the 38 million Indonesians involved in the fish farming business. KangPuj Farm is one of the MSMEs that carries out the enlargement business of sangkuriang catfish cultivation. The cultivation results are processed into various processed products to increase the selling value of these products. The small scale of the business, with all the limitations in capital, production capacity, labor, physical facilities, and equipment, causes KangPuj Farm to not conduct a clear quantification of water quality and have not analyzed the pattern of fish growth rates and cultivation time based on biological and economic aspects. Therefore, the parameters of water temperature, dissolved oxygen content, pH, total ammonia content, total phosphate content, nitrate content, and nitrite content were tested with the results that the parameters that meet the quality standards are pH, total phosphate content, nitrate content, and nitrite content, while the parameters that do not match are water temperature, dissolved oxygen content, and total ammonia content, with consecutive results of 23.2 ± 0.08 °C; 1.27 ± 0.15 mg/L; 9.69 mg/L. Then, the pattern of fish growth rate was determined through the general fish length-weight equation ????=????????????. The calculation results show that the equation ????=0,0049????3,1338 with b is less than 3, indicating that allometric growth is positive with a daily growth rate of 1.89%/day. This study was also conducted to determine the cultivation time in producing products that meet the criteria of biological maturity and are in demand by the market at 100, 125, and 166.67 grams/head with the results obtained successively being 248, 271, and 305 days. The bioeconomic approach was carried out to find profits in one year according to the cultivation time needed to meet market demand. Profit optimization was obtained according to the equation ????=?1,895????????3+4.682,51????????2?332.904,13?????????14.311.995,69. The biggest annual profit is obtained when cultivating catfish with a size of 166.67 grams/head and an amount of Rp318,438,883.4, which is carried out for 305 days with a harvest frequency of once a year. text |
