Description
Summary:The purpose of this study is to obtain actual magnitude of discharged sediments exported from the Cipunagara Rivermouth in the West of the Patimban Port development area by means of in-situ measurement. The in-situ measurement follows the procedures of the data acquisition based on Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 8066. During the measurements current speed and sample of water are carried out along a cross-section on a bridge of the Cipunagara River located approximately 10 km from the rivermouth. A current meter is used to collect current speed data and a niskin bottle to collect sample of design. The measurements were conducted on the 2nd of October, 2021 and the 27th of November, 2021. It is found that the observed sediment discharges are 0.115 kg/s and 21.03 kg/s, respectively for the first and second measurement. The study suggests that the in-situ measurement is at 85% compliance due to the SNI 8066.
