Over the last few years, online buying and selling activities have increased because many activities must be carried out online so that most activities are carried out through Work from Home. With that statement, the packaging waste for online buying and selling activities could increase rapidly. Areas that are filled with population density will increase buying and selling power so that the amount of waste generated will increase. Bogor City is one of the cities in West Java Province which is densely populated with settlements. Because of this density level, the City of Bogor has the potential to increase packaging waste for online buying and selling activities that increase the volume of household domestic waste. This study aims to determine the generation and composition of packaged waste, the relationship of per capita expenditure, community behavior, and education to package waste management, the relationship of education to packaging preferences and package waste management in Bogor City. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the people of Bogor City. Data collected from questionnaires were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the generation of package waste before the pandemic was 0,419 kg/person/day and during the pandemic it was 0,526 kg/person/day. The largest packaging waste composition is plastic. Based on the analysis using the Spearman Rank Correlation test, it was found that there was a significant correlation or relationship between per capita expenditure and waste management as well as education and packaging preferences. However, there is no significant correlation or relationship between education and waste management. The results of the comparative test using the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test showed a significant difference between the frequency of online shopping before the pandemic and the frequency of online shopping during the pandemic. text
