Nickel is usually processed into materials for coatings, steelmaking alloys, plating, and stainless steel. In nickel mining activities, sources of air pollution are generated from several mining activities such as stripping, nickel ore, use of heavy vehicles, crushing and milling, atmospheric leaching, nickel drying, and secondary neutralization which can cause a decrease in air quality. Efforts that can be made to maintain air quality and prevent air pollution are to predict air concentrations by modeling the spread of pollutants. In this study, the types of pollutants that will be modeled are TSP, PM2,5, PM10, SO2 and NOx generated from 3 types of sources, point sources, area sources and line sources. Air dispersion modeling was carried out using AERMOD software. In operation using AERMOD, meteorological data is required and processed by AERMET and also topographic data is processed using AERMAP. The results of pollutant dispersion modeling will be compared with Government Regulation no. 22 of 2021 and based on the results of this study, the types of pollutants that pass the quality standard are NOx and SO2 in 24-hour and 1- year measurements. text
