Thus, this undergraduate thesis aims to develop a simple simulation of an HMI in the industry, which could function as an additional practicum module for the Mechatronics course. The developed HMI simulator is based on an actual HMI used in a geothermal power plant that operates in a steady state condition. The simulator is built using LabVIEW® 2021 software developed by the National Instrument. The HMI simulator has been developed successfully and tested in conjunction with students. Furthermore, it can be operated offline, allowing students to execute the program independently. Therefore, it is suitable to be part of a practicum module in the Mechatronics course, to introduce the application of HMIs in the industry. text |
