It makes the marine resources potential to be quite large so that a mechanism for the management of maritime spaces and also the planning of marine objects is needed. Marine cadastre is the answer to this need. Therefore, the role of the Indonesian marine cadastre map becomes very crucial as a tool in the development and implementation of marine cadastre in Indonesia. This research was conducted by technical studies and literature studies on Indonesian marine cadastre maps. A study was conducted on the technical, legal, and institutional aspects of the Indonesian marine cadastral map. It was found that the Indonesian marine cadastre map only mapped 3 out of 13 marine cadastre objects. The datum used is the WGS84 datum which is a semi-dynamic datum. The scale on the map varies with marine cadastre objects. As well as the projection and coordinate system used are the National Transverse Mercator projection coordinate system with a zone width of 30. The Indonesian marine cadastre map does not yet have special and specific legality, but the elements already have their legalities respectively. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has been running as an organizing institution of Indonesian marine cadastral maps. Further studies are needed regarding the feasibility of applying land cadastre technicalities onto marine cadastre, comprehensive special legalities related to marine cadastre, and determining the needs in institutional part along with the development of Indonesian marine cadastre in the future. text
