This museum proclaims itself as a “Museum for All” which can be a trigger for the growth of disability-friendly tourism in the city of Bandung. However, to make this happen, the surrounding accommodation facilities and accessibility also need to be friendly to visitors with disabilities. Then, have so far the Museum of the Asian-African Conference, accommodations, and places to eat around it being friendly to visitors with disabilities? This study seeks to answer these questions with the aim of identifying the need for disability-friendly tourism development in the Museum of the Asian-African Conference, lodging, and dining areas around the museum. Through the methods of collecting data from observations, interviews, and literature reviews that were processed using descriptive statistical analysis methods, gap analysis, and content analysis, this study found that the provision of supporting facilities in the Museum of the Asian-African Conference, lodging, and eating places around The museum has begun to be developed towards the concept of barrier-free tourism. However, the development has not been clearly directed and well integrated. text |
