This Transfer Station has an area of 107 ????2 currently serving more than 22463 people from 13 RW in Sadang Serang and Sekeloa. Residents served by Transfer Station of Sadang Serang produce garbage generation of 5,69 kg/day. Waste entering the Transfer Station is usually transported directly to the Final Processing Site every day with 2 times of irritation. The performance improvent of Transfer Station of Sadang Serang needs to be done so that waste can be processed first, and can reduce the amount of waste transported to the landfill site. In planning, the total population served is the entire Transfer Station of Sadang Serang service area. But the land used in the planning is expanded, so that it is expected that new waste processing activities will occur, especially organic waste and reduce waste generation to landfill. Waste management system planning at 3R Transfer Station of Sadang Serang includes the planning of waste reception systems, sorting systems, organic waste management systems, inorganic waste handling systems, and residue handling systems. Sorting is done manually using a conveyor belt. Inorganic waste selling behavior will be handled according to its type. Plastic waste will be chopped, paper waste will be pressed, metal waste will be contained before being sold. Organic waste will be processed using the Black Soldier Fly method. With the planned system, by 2032 the generation of waste entering the Transfer Station will be 5,73 tons/day and in 2042 the generation of waste entering the Transfer Station will be 5,74 tons/day. |
