According to WHO guidelines, MDR TB treatment using a short term and long term regimens. Adverse drug reaction occurrence is one of the factors influces treatment success. This study aims to identify adverse drug reaction (ADR) in both regimens at RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung, analyze the severity and catagorize it with Naranjo algorithm, and identify correlation between gender, age, baseline weight, and comorbidities with adverse drug reaction in both regimens. This study is a retrospective observational study with descriptive approach, the samplw obtained using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from medical records, laboratory results, and Sistem Informasi Tuberkulosis (SITB) of 65 patients. The result showed 90% patient with short term regimen and 86.67% patient with long term regimen experienced adverse drug reactions. The majority of patients on both regimens experienced nausea, headache, and joint pain. Short term regimen showed 70.79% adverse drug reaction is grade 1 (mild) and 86.3% showed probable causality according to Naranjo algorithm. Long term regimen showed 63.24% adverse drug reaction is grade 1 (mild) and 82.35% reactions have probable causality according to the Naranjo algorithm. The result from Fisher Exact Test showed that there is no significant correlation between gender, age, baseline weight, and the comorbidities presence with adverse drug reaction in both regimens. text
