THE DYNAMICS OF MOVEMENTS BEHAVIOR OF BICYCLE USERS DURING THE TRANSITION TOWARDS THE COVID-19 ENDEMIC (CASE STUDY: BANDUNG CITY)

With the many changes to movement restrictions in the city of Bandung, the trend of cyclists has shown a high number since the pandemi took place. With the large number of bicycle users in the city of Bandung, there are several obstacles that have not been able to accommodate the demand for cyclists in the city of Bandung, so it is necessary to identify the number of cyclists in the city of Bandung in the future. This study aims to identify the dynamics of the movement of cyclists at 4 points in time (prepandemi, during the pandemi, currently (transition to endemi, and estimates in the future endemi), and also to find out what factors influence the use of bicycles. Method which are used to answer these objectives are statistical descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and binomial logistic regression analysis. The results obtained are that there is a significant dynamic between the 3 periods and there is a great opportunity in the future endemi period. Then through binomial logistic regression analysis, we get the following factors: factors that influence respondents' preferences and opportunities for bicycle users, with the percentage of non-regular bicycle users (77%) and non-regular bicycle users (23%). text |
