The assessment based on data during 2000-2005. The parameter of water quality which include as indicator of the assessment were Total Suspended Solid (TDS), Total Dissolved Suspended (TDS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Nitrogen (TN), and Phosphate. State and trend of water quality index were calculated by referring to PP no. 82 year 2001. The assessment was analyzed in seasonal and spatial. Generally, the result of assessment shows that water quality index decline in spatial condition (from upstream to downstream) and in seasonal (from dry to wet season). Sunter River was worse than Ciliwung River. Water quality index state of Ciliwung River was classified as bad and was categorizing in quality of class III (for aquaculture and farming) at upstream while part of downstream it can be categorized with quality of class IV (for agriculture). While in Sunter River, the water quality index was worse and in categorizing with quality of class III and IV. The trend of water quality off Ciliwung and Sunter Rivers shows degradation in spatial even not significantly. <br /> text
