Summary: | Quality is required in every software product so that the software can be used properly and
users do not get a bad user experience when using the software. The quality of a software
product needs to be tested from the beginning of software development so that there is no
domino effect that can become a big problem in the future. The quality of an application can
primarily be seen from the functionality of its features. If the features provided can run well
and do not cause errors on the running system, it can be concluded that the software has good
quality.
Testing is something that must be done in a software development process because software is
made by humans and allows mistakes during the development process. The tests carried out in
this development are functionality testing that focuses on the functionality of the features of
the software. Testing is carried out using the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) method
which is a structured testing process and is a method that is widely used by companies in the
development process and can be changed as needed.
After the testing process was carried out on the Android and iOS-based Edunex application, it
was found that many errors and functionality errors were found in each of the newly developed
features. With the tests carried out, functionality that has errors in it can be corrected
immediately before it reaches the user. |
