The drastic decline in the use of public transportation creates major challenges for the transportation sector and the sustainable aspects of post-pandemic life. This causes the need for efforts to restore public transportation. To be able to formulate appropriate efforts, it is important to know the changes that occur first. This study seeks to find out the changes that occur by reviewing the dynamics of the movement behavior of public transportation users before the pandemic, during the pandemic, during the transition period (currently), and in the future endemic period, with an emphasis on the transition period to determine the factors that influence the use of public transportation modes. To achieve this goal, data collection was carried out by questionnaires to 421 public transportation users in the city of Bandung which were then processed using statistical descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and binomial logit analysis. The final results show that the use of public transportation at this time and in the future endemic period, in general has increased, but has not returned to what it was before the pandemic. The results also show that the reasons for comfort and safety are the most dominant main reasons that cause a person not to use public transportation modes during the pandemic and transition period, while the reasons for ease of use are the most dominant main reasons for those who use public transportation modes. Modeling related to the use of public transportation shows that in general socio-economic characteristics and perceptions have a significant effect on the use of public transportation modes. Based on the resulting model, the probability of using public transportation in general is quite large (70%), but on a regular basis it tends to be low (36%). text |

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people's movements and the
transportation sector in general. The drastic decline in the use of public transportation
creates major challenges for the transportation sector and the sustainable aspects of
post-pandemic life. This causes the need for efforts to restore public transportation.
To be able to formulate appropriate efforts, it is important to know the changes that
occur first. This study seeks to find out the changes that occur by reviewing the
dynamics of the movement behavior of public transportation users before the
pandemic, during the pandemic, during the transition period (currently), and in the
future endemic period, with an emphasis on the transition period to determine the
factors that influence the use of public transportation modes. To achieve this goal,
data collection was carried out by questionnaires to 421 public transportation users
in the city of Bandung which were then processed using statistical descriptive analysis,
factor analysis, and binomial logit analysis. The final results show that the use of
public transportation at this time and in the future endemic period, in general has
increased, but has not returned to what it was before the pandemic. The results also
show that the reasons for comfort and safety are the most dominant main reasons that
