Description
Summary:The construction of West Java Kertajati International Airport (BIJB) and the Aerocity Area which has an area of about 5000 Ha will affect the development pattern of builtup land cover. This area is located in Kertajati District which is included in the Kertajati Local Activity Center (PKL) which consists of Kertajati, Jati Tujuh, and Ligung Districts. The BIJB Kertajati Aerocity area which consists of the airport area and its supporting infrastructure will be one of the main factors in increasing the growth of built-up land in PKL Kertajati. Furthermore, BIJB has been designated as one of the development points of the Segitiga Rebana Area in Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) No. 11 of 2021. This causes an indication that infrastructure development can lead to the growth and development of new activity centers, especially in the surrounding areas. Of course, this will directly affect the spatial pattern plan if there are indications of a discrepancy between the plan and future regional growth. Thus, this study aims to identify the effect of the development of BIJB Kertajati on the development cover and its development on the spatial pattern plan. This research will be carried out by conducting two modeling in the PKL Kertajati for the next thirty years, in which the first scenario is to simulate the Kertajati PKL land cover without the development of the Kertajati BIJB area, so the one that distinguish to the second scenario is the usage of the driving factors that exist in the airport area and aerocity. This research methodology will use a hybrid modeling technique between multilayer perceptron neural network and markov chain cellular automata which is a cell/pixel based modeling and artificial neural network. The data used are satellite imagery and shapefiles of the driving factors which are then processed using ArcGIS and then modeled using Terrset Idrisi Selva. After the results of the two model scenarios, a comparison will be made regarding the differences based on the increase in the number of developments and the shift in growth centers. In addition, a comparison will also be made with the spatial pattern plan map of Majalengka Regency in PKL Kertajati to see if it is well-suited to the development plan. The results of the analysis show that the development of the BIJB Kertajati Aerocity Area can increase the development of built-up land and at the center of growth from Ligung District to Kertajati District. This needs to be controlled because there are findings of growth of built-up land in protected areas. The implication is that infrastructure must be prepared in the delineation area to accommodate the growth of the area. It is also necessary to provide the related RTRW of Majalengka Regency to make BIJB as one of the development points of the Tambourine Area.
