Description
Summary:In 2017, the number of theft victims in Indonesia amounted to 84.47%, this increased in 2018 to 84.48% based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Some of these crime causes the death of the victim. Home security which is still simple and undeveloped makes this crime common and even increasing. There are 61.21% of people in Indonesia who still use simple home security such as padlocks, regular door locks, and layered door bars based on BPS’s data and it causes 58.85% of people in Indonesia are concerned about leaving their homes unoccupied because of simple home security. The author creates an integrated system using Kinect v2 cameras integrated with mobile applications for monitoring in this project. This project can replace or help the supervision’s job of the residence through a human pose recognition system with real time data communication and mobile applications. Human pose recognition system will classify an action captured by a Kinect v2 camera, based on the predefined parameters i.e. normal and abnormal movement. If the camera detects a suspicious action that classified into abnormal movement, then the system send a notification to user through the mobile app.
