INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/69439 Many land conflicts in Indonesia arise from the lack of a quality land registration method and land management, causing significant misinterpretation and ambiguous information. The One Map Policy can help bridge the difference between maps data produced by relevant ministries or agencies, which is the main problem in the decision-making process that can create conflicts related to land use activities. The primary purpose of this study is to determine to what degree the One Map Policy framework in the land registration system contributes to the provision of highquality data for decision-making plans This study was conducted by the qualitative research method with a case-study approach. Semi-structured interviews were used as primary data collection, literature reviews, government documents, and reports as secondary data. Using the framework from Steudler et al. (2004), this study analyzed each component in the government layer to gain knowledge, situation, and condition regarding the utilization and implementation of the One Map Policy in Fakfak Regency. This research discovered that even though many stakeholders positively received the One Map Policy concept, the implementation is still far from initial expectations. Gaps were found in the spatial data infrastructure between the central government and the local government, as well as other problems such as familiarity level, limited human resources, and infrastructure availability. The results showed that the implementation of the One Map Policy is still far from ideal in Fakfak Regency. The One Map Policy in Fakfak Regency is still a work in progress and needs support from the central government, especially in its implementation to overcome its limitations. text
