LANDSLIDE SUSCEPTIBILITY ANALYSIS AROUND THE PELOSIKA DAM PLANNING, SOUTHEAST SULAWESI

The planning location for the Pelosika Dam is administratively located in two regencies, namely Konawe Regency and East Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province with 1.75 km2. research area. There are two planning locations for dam construction, namely alternative one or the upper dam and alterna...

There are two planning locations for dam construction, namely alternative one or the upper dam and alternative two or the lower dam. This research aims to determine landslide susceptibility zone based on the physical properties of soil mechanics, slope, elevation, rainfall, groundwater table depth, and the point of occurrence of landslides. The research area is located at an altitude of 50-300 m with a slope angle of 0-62°. Soil in the research area is divided into 3 zones, namely residual soil zone, colluvial deposit soil, and alluvial deposit soil. . Landslide susceptibility modeling, was carried out using deterministic analysis of infinite slope to the use of the TRIGRS (Transient Rainfall Infiltration and Grid-based Regional Slope Stability) program. Landslide susceptibility modeling is carried out using rainfall data in June 2019. Based on the modeling, the landslide susceptibility zone is divided into four zones, namely the high susceptibility zone, moderate susceptibility y zone, low susceptibility zone, and very low susceptibility zone. The high susceptibility zone is to the northeast, northwest, and southwest of the lower dam, and the northwest, southwest, and south of the upper dam. Analysis of changes in FK values was carried out in six critical zones that had FK values < 1,2. Based on the analysis of changes in the FK value, the largest decrease FK in area six, which is 0,444. text
