Description
Summary:Ojan area is located at the offshore part of Jatibarang Sub Basin. Hydrocarbon exploration in this area is still on going until today, which means it is a necessary a deeper investigation on exploration and development concept. This study is focused at the Talang Akar Formation which consists of intercalation of sandstone, shale, and limestone. In this study, the datas that being used are well logs, conventional core description report, side wall core description report, 3-D seismic, and checkshot, geochemical analysis report, and biostratigraphy analysis report. Methods that being used in this study are interval determination of Talang Akar Formation, well seismic tie, depositional environment analysis by using the electrofacies analysis, sequence stratigraphy, seismic interpretation, petrophysics evaluation, and Montecarlo simulation. According to the closure identification at depth structure map, there are seven structural traps which are the prospect in study area. These prospects is evaluated by using the petroleum system analysis and hydrocarbon resource calculation. According to the result of Montecarlo simulation, there are 47.76 MMSTB in total of hydrocarbon resource. The prospect ranking from the highest to the lowest are Prospect-6, Prospect-1, Prospect-2, Prospect-7, Prospect-3, Prospect-5, Prospect-4. Key words: Jatibarang Sub Basin, Talang Akar Formation, exploration, hydrocarbon prospect.
