The background of this research is hydrocarbon potential based on field data such as side wall cores (SWC) and well log data. This research focus on limestone reservoir interval of Mentawa Member, Minahaki Formation or known as Miocene Carbonate. This research aims to understanding geological settings, modeling the distribution of depositional facies and reservoir petrophysical properties, also estimating hydrocarbon reserves in place volume that appropriate for the next stage of field development. The data used in this research consists of seismic data, well log data, and SWC description data. The methods used in this research are facies and stratigrapic correlation analysis, petrophysical analysis result review, reservoir modeling, and volumetric calculation of hydrocarbon reserves in place. Lithofacies analysis based on SWC description data shows that the research reservoir interval consists of three lithofacies, they are Foraminiferal Wackstone – Packstone (WP), Skeletal Mudstone – Wackstone (MW), and Skeletal Wackstone – Packstone and Grainstone (WG). The research reservoir interval is deposited in shallow marine environment part of carbonate platform that has facies association such as platform interior-open marine and platform margin-sand shoals. Static reservoir modeling which includes 3D structural modeling, facies modeling, and petrophysical modeling shows reservoir distribution, reservoir property distribution, and hydrocarbon reserve volume of Liberio Field. The estimated volume of original gas in place (OGIP) is 35 BSCF and original oil in place (OOIP) is 12 MMSTB. The results of this research could be use as reference for the development of Liberio Field. text
