INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/69695 DKI Jakarta has high population growth and industrial increase. These two things raise the need for water, including groundwater. Excessive groundwater extraction can lead to geological hazards, e.g. land subsidence. Moreover, the increase in population and industry can also escalate groundwater contamination potential. In order to analyze the land subsidence, hydraulic parameter values of an aquifer are needed. Meanwhile, the groundwater quality can be analyzed based on groundwater’s physical and chemical parameters. This research was carried out to understand the aquifer type, values of its hydraulic parameter, and groundwater quality in northeastern Jakarta. The data used are secondary, consisting of six wells of pumping test data and 13 wells of groundwater physical and chemical parameter data. The aquifer type was determined based on the pumping test data which were overlain with the Theis curve. The value of the aquifer hydraulic parameter, which in this case is the transmissivity, was analyzed using Jacob’s method. Moreover, this research analyzed groundwater quality based on TDS, pH, anion, and cation parameters. Based on the literature, the research area is physiographically located in Jakarta Coastal Plain Zone. Furthermore, the research area is in the Geomorphological Zone of Coastal Plain and Bogor Volcanic Fan. Stratigraphically, two formations are discussed in this research, i.e. the Pliocene Kaliwangu Formation and the Pleistocene Citalang Formation. There are some geological structures in the research area, consisting of northeast-southwest faults. The results show that there are two aquifer types in the research area, i.e. confined and leaky aquifers. The transmissivity of the aquifers ranges from 1.11 × 10-4 to 8.7 × 10-4 m2/s. Based on the values of TDS and pH, nine groundwater samples do not meet the TDS standard, and ten groundwater samples do not meet the pH standard from Permenkes No. 492/2010.
