By 2050, the United Nations (UN) predicts this proportion will increase to 68 percent due to a growing urban population and migration from rural areas. Increasing urban population requires sustainable development that depends on good urban management. The concept of a smart city or smart city is one of the trends that encourage sustainable development using evolving information technology. Unfortunately, currently many smart city implementations have not been effective because of their wide scope. The living lab concept is an alternative for implementing smart cities on a small scale more effectively. This final project will discuss the design of the platform / middleware living lab in Dago, Dipatiukur, and Ganesha Regions. This design will then be implemented in collaboration with researchers and professionals and tested according to standard software engineering processes. The design made with UML has met the needs of professional development and standard unit testing of the platform has been carried out. Author hopes that this research and writing can become the foundation and development of living labs in other areas with other scopes that can improve the quality of life for the community. text
