The results of the descriptive evaluation show that the architectural description language (in general) can meet the requirements but has not fully accommodated the needs for performance measurement. The results from the syntax quality evaluation show that the architectural description language meets the criteria of correctness and well-formed rules. Enterprise Architecture (EA) is one of the concepts that is increasingly being considered in the domain of Sustainability or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this is indicated by the increasing trend of research on EA and sustainability topics. The advantages of enterprise architecture that guarantee issues related to coherence and consistency are often the reason why this enterprise architecture concept is chosen.
In ensuring coherence, one of the ways adopted in the concept of enterprise architecture is to use an architecture description language. This language was created as a communication tool for stakeholders in communicating various concerns according to their respective perspectives. The implementation of an architectural description language (to ensure coherence) also has the opportunity to be used in the domain of orchestrating the achievement of SDGs at the community level. This is because conceptually, the community where the enterprise is located can also be seen as an "enterprise", so that it can have architectural substance to a certain degree.
By using the design science research method, this research succeeded in building the language models or architecture description language which was incorporated with the organismic concept and SDGs. This incorporation succeeded in obtaining artifacts in the form of 7 archimate metamodels with the extension of organismic concepts and SDGs-MOI consisting of motivation layer, strategy layer, business layer, technology layer, physical layer, composite element as well as conventions consisting of construction function separation conventions and canvas separation conventions.
The functionality of the new metamodel construct is demonstrated through an Archisurrance case study adapted to be relevant to research needs. This adaptation is to accommodate SDGs orchestration scenarios at the community level through SDGS-PP. The case study successfully demonstrated the functionality of the new generated constructs dan convention.
iv
The resulting architectural description language is then evaluated using descriptive methods and syntax quality evaluation. The results of the descriptive evaluation show that the architectural description language (in general) can meet the requirements but has not fully accommodated the needs for performance measurement. The results from the syntax quality evaluation show that the architectural description language meets the criteria of correctness and well-formed rules.
The architectural description language as a result of this research is expected to be the foundation for the development of a domain specific language for enterprise architecture-based SDGs orchestration. |
