In providing risk management services to customers, the company will receive a premium for the insurance coverage provided. Based on premium income data from the official website on the financial statements of comprehensive income for the 2nd quarter of June 2021 and 2022 at the PQR insurance company, the growth of the premium income of the PQR company is negative. This is an indication the performance of the PQR insurance company is not good with the decline in premium income. The phenomenon of decreased performance could be related to financial, marketing, technology, and human resource problems. When looking at human resources who focus on employee personality profiles, the results of the analysis show that the DISC profile mismatch between the DISC company profile and DISC employee profiles, namely the behavior (I) of employees is lower than expected by the company and behavior (C) of employees is higher than expected by the company. The solution that can be given to increase the premium income of the PQR insurance company is by increasing the behavior (I) of employees and weakening the behavior (C) of employees so that employees are in line with the targets expected by the company. The company organization becomes more effective and can assist the company in achieving the targets that have been set. The method used to increase behavior (I) and weaken behavior (C) is to combine the MARS Model of individual performance and the A-B-C behavior modification model. This method will be used as an alternative to developing employees in the form of training, mentoring, on-the-job training, job rotation, and regular assessment of DISC personality tests for employees to find out the DISC employee profile. This thesis research uses primary data in processing data using observation through the DISC personality test questionnaire and interviews with directors and human resource management with quantitative methods. The secondary data used are company documents and study literature. This study aims to increase the DISC employee profile to match the target with the DISC company profile so that the company experiences an increase in premium income text |
