Summary: | Polyclinic in Immanuel hospital is the top of the lance for attracting customers who are the patients, which get some treatment, and the patients, which should be hospitalized. In the matter of fact, nowadays the amount number of patients visiting in polyclinics seems to be decreasing. That's why it is felt necessary to make some improvement. One thing that is concerned is the matter of human resources, which mean the executors, especially the doctors in polyclinics, because the doctors give a very significant contribution in deciding the amount of patients visiting. That is the reason why it is necessary to examine the motivation and to make an effort for fulfilling the need of the doctors.<p>Anyway the purpose of motivating the doctors in polyclinics is to increase the working quality in the hope that it will increase the productivity in servicing the patients, too. This research is done by spread some questioners and direct interviews to 40 doctors in polyclinics. From the survey, I got 30 data. After processing the data and analyze it by calculating the gap between hope and satisfaction, we get the result from the need hierarchy theory of Maslow, that the physical need is good enough, the doctors just want a salary adjustment as well as other hospitals do. And about the other needs, such as security, social, appreciation and self-actualization are felt haven't been fulfilled as the hope, yet, especially about the social need and self-actualization. That is why some reparation is needed in the short-term and the long-term programs.<p>The shod-term programs are The Salary System, The Health Insurance, The Medical Law Illumination, The Patients Treatment System in hospital, The Managerial Hospital Training, The Operational System Arrangement from Medic Execution Profession, The Standard Tariff of Arrangement and Doctors Treatment / Consultation, The Job Description for Specialists and General Doctor (assistant), The Openness of the leader in Strategic and Coordination and The Inclusion of The Doctors in Developing The Hospital.<p>And the long-term programs are The Welfare and The Doctors Talent Development, The Cooperation with other hospitals, inside the country and outside the country, The Employee Reward System, The Improvement of Cooperation with Maranatha Christian University in Increasing Specialists' Power and Skill, The Managerial System Reparation for Functional Increase of Diagnostic Center Planning, Health Facilities Increase, Human Resources Education and Training, Professional Career Planning, and The Increase of Working Climate. |
