Description
Summary:The main problem of PT UKSMA's vannamei shrimp farming company is the decline in pond productivity which has reached 41% in the last 2 years, from mid- 2018 to mid-2020. This study aims to determine the effect of production factors on total production as well as the economic efficiency of these production factors by using Cobb-Douglass model. Regression analysis of the Cobb-Douglass production function was carried out using Minitab 18 software, while for economic efficiency using Microsoft Excel 16 software. Another objective is to determine the added value and percentage of company profits using the Hayami Method during the dry and rainy seasons. Simultaneously the production factor variables (feed, minerals, molasses and immunostimulants) affect the total production of PT. UKSMA. The most influential production factor is feed with an elasticity value of 0.993. The most efficient use of production factors is feed with an economic efficiency value of 0.3. During the dry season PT. UKSMA generates added value and higher company profits with a value of Rp. 23,131/kg and a percentage of company profits of 35%, while during the rainy season the added value is only Rp. 8,885/kg with a percentage of company profits of 13%.
