The techniques and methods of carrying transformed while maintaining the shape, material, and concept of the selendang batik. Experiments were carried out based on the carrying technique's knowledge with a woven wrap, knot technique, and sling ring. From the experimental results, five carrying techniques produced. The five carrying techniques tested on mothers and babies. The mother filled out a questionnaire outlined on a semantic differential scale after testing. The questionnaire data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively by analyzing the comments and trend graphs. The results showed that the carrying technique with two layers of the carrying bag is tighter, supportive, and safe; the carrying technique that ends with a bond ensures the carrier's strength to hold the baby's weight. The ease of use of the sling also shortens the learning curve that the carrier has to pass. Babies are comfortable being held with various carrying techniques because skin-to-skin touch provides comfort and serenity. The five carrying techniques can use according to the needs, experience level, and carrying training. text |

Babywearing is an activity that has been carried out for a long time and has passed down
from generation to generation. The world of babywearing has changed due to the
knowledge and research about the anatomy of a baby's bones and attachment parenting
theory. The benefits of holding provide closeness between parents and babies that make
parents enthusiastic about learning to carry. Woven wrap is a popular carrier for its
