Summary:Trend is something that is closely related to fashion (fashion).The rapid development of fashion trends has led to the creation of new styles in dress. One of them is the street style of dress. This style of dress continues to evolve until it finally gives rise to new terms and new trends in the world of fashion. Hypebeast is a term that emerged in 2015 and is used as a term for people who are obsessed with new things that are trending in the fashion world, especially in street styles. This style of dress has become a trend and is in demand by young people in various countries, including in Indonesia in the past five years.This is also felt by young people in the modern dance community in the cities of Bandung and Jakarta. They easily adapt and accept new fashion trends to support their performance on stage which is required to always be fashionable. However, along with the high fashion needs of the members of the modern dance community in each of their performances on stage, they must be able to mix and match the clothes they have to create their distinctive character. In addition to supporting appearance, clothing also functions as a medium for expression and communication. As has been known from previous studies, changes that occur in fashion trends will change consumer behavior towards fashion, it also affects the market's desire for fashion. This study aims to analyze the influence of Hypebeast on the fashion needs of consumers, especially members of the modern dance community in the city of Bandung and Jakarta. The method used in this study is the mix method, which is an exploratory sequential mixture method. The initial approach is carried out qualitatively, then the data obtained are analyzed using a quantitative approach.
