| Summary: | As one of the housing assistance programs that aims to provide livable housing in urban areas while arranging and improving the life of slum areas, Kampung Deret Petogogan has not been optimal. After being established since its completion in 2014, the condition of the village began to slum again due to the increase in the number of residents, the absence of economic improvement, and the lack of a place for the community to have business space and social interaction. This condition is the basis that row houses in slum areas are not appropriate and require an alternative row village design that accommodates economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The design of a walk up apartment model design with a Ecological Approach is carried out as an alternative housing that not only arranges slum villages, but also provides opportunities for the community to improve economic quality through circular economy urban farming as a form of food security, social quality through residential concepts with communal village lifestyles, and environmental quality through passive design that optimizes climate potential and green areas. |
