Description
Summary:TAKT time planning is a work structuring method that aims to achieve the lean principle of continuous flow. TAKT time itself can be defined as the work pace or the heartbeat which is derived from the demand given. TAKT time ensures continuous flow which can result in a reduce to loss in time and waste. The production elements in TAKT time planning can be in the forms of materials, process, production tools and any other elements that support production activities. These production elements will then be allocated into the work groups in order to be processed and form the result of the work done. Scheduling is done to allow the monitoring of materials being transferred from one station to another alongside its duration of delivery. Unexpected issues have to be addressed in order to identify problems withing the system and allow the user to see the errors existing within the production. In the case where materials have to be changed there needs to be an engineering order to allow the change of product structure. This allows the system to take precaution for technical issues or production cost. Object-oriented modelling is utilised to develop the system because production objects from the real world are translated into virtual objects utilising a physical cyber system. Modelling is done throughout the system design phase based on actual conditions. The items included in the system are identified while creating class diagrams. Each object has defined attributes and methods. Once modelling has been performed it is then transformed into a web-based application using python programming. With the help of python programming and Django as its framework a web-based application has been created to allow a digitalisation of the TAKT production system in the case of project management and overall monitoring of the production process.
