Rain water is one of many sources of water that can be utilized by the people in the Kelubi Village to fulfill their water needs. As of now, there are only 25,6% from total families in Kelubi Village that the water needs are served by PDAM. This is a challenge for the local government to get 100% of its villagers have sufficient access to water. Rainfed pond can pose as one of many solutions to solve this water challenge. The rainfed pond is planned to have a total volume of 132.328,949 m3 and has a depth of 5 meters. The rainfed pond is planned to be built by excavating and piling the site plan until the soil are on the same level. This is meant for the rainfall runoff from the catchment area to be able to enter the pond so that the pond has extra water sources aside from the rainfall that directly enter the pond. This rainfed pond is also going to have a spillway that has a height of 4 meters from the bottom of the pond and a pump house that will act as the pond’s outlet. The collected water from the local rain will be distributed to a water treatment infrastructure that is located not far from the pond site. The total cost for this pond to be built is Rp8,274,700,439.93. It is hoped that the collected rainwater in the ponds can act as an extra water supply so that the water demand from local villagers can be fulfilled for as much as they need. text
