Description
Summary:Mass transportation has been used in many major cities in the world which is intended to solve the problem of urban movement needs, congestion problems, fuel waste problems and environmental problems. Indonesia, especially in the DKI Jakarta area, currently there are several types of mass transportation modes, namely commuter line trains, TransJakarta buses, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT). To increase the use and improve performance of mass transit, this research will specifically discuss the concept of mass transit fares integration that makes Jabodetabek as a case of study. Based on the identification of fare integration problems, which are reflected in several cities in the world, fare integration can increase the number of users of mass public transportation by reducing transportation fares. This is due to changes in the movement pattern of mass transit users and the addition of new mass transit users. In this research, 4 (four) main things have been carried out, namely operator income analysis, stated preference analysis, optimization analysis in determining the integrated fare rate with dynamic programming backward recursion programs and the process of sharing income between mass public transport operators. In the study model of mass public transport transportation services in parts of South Jakarta and Central Jakarta, by integrating fares (with single fare and multi fare systems) on the commuter line, TransJakarta and MRT train modes, this results in an increase in system traffic performance, namely reducing travel time systemically at 3% up to 4%. This is due to an increase in mass public transport users by 3% up to 7% from the previous condition. Furthermore, the fare integration analysis process is compiled into a complete concept of applying an integrated fare in mass public transportation.
