Summary: | The construction projects is carried out through the stages of the Project Life Cycle in which there is a Project Delivery process that determines how projects will be planned and constructed. Design-Build (DB) is an alternative method that allows overlap between the design and construction stages and its use in infrastructure at the District/City level needs to be studied. The application of the DB method will require supporting instruments that influence its success. Five critical success factors were identified as supporting factors for the application of the DB method in the Bandung City, especially in road and bridge sector, which were then compared with the existing conditions of the implementation so that it was expected to be implemented correctly. Project characteristic factors, Service User capabilities, supply chain capabilities and availability, stakeholder relationships, and related regulations are identified factors. Good Governance is also needed as a prerequisite for implementation to support the success of implementation, especially in the scope of local government infrastructure.
