However, many construction firms, particularly small contractors, appear to lack the proper integrated approach to business continuity planning. Data from the Directorate General of Construction Development of Construction Services Business Entities, (2021) shows that the composition of small contractors is up to 85%, medium contractors are 14%, and large contractors are 1%, therefore it is important for small contractors to implement Business Continuity Management. However, we must assess the level of readiness before applying BCM. The purpose of this study is to provide a framework for evaluating small contractors' BCM readiness and to measure their state of comprehension. This research was conducted through interviews with small contractors in Bandung. The study was able to generate an assessment of the level of Business Continuity Management (BCM) implementation readiness in Small Contractors based on ISO and literature review. The study was also successful in determining the average level of readiness for small contractors in Bandung to implement BCM based on this assessment framework. Although the readiness level of the respondents' understanding is generally strong, there are other indications, including execution and evaluation, that still need to be addressed. text |
