There is a place in Indonesia whose have significant shoreline changes that place in Karyatani beach, Kabupaten Lampung Timur, Lampung. Karyatani village have a number of shrimp pond area and facilities that owned by peoples near coastline whose can get impact and losses when abrasion happening. To prevent abrasion problem, we must need design of coastal protection structure. We can analysis and predict coastline retreat because of abrasion in 10 years model for looking coastline changing that can use in Nearshore Evolution Modelling System (NEMOS) module in Coastal Engineering Design and Analysis System (CEDAS) program. In module have many sub – module that have connection between them. In Simulation of NEMOS we can pick another alternative coastal protection structure which can hold coastline retreat. There have many alternative options of coastal protection structure that can be pick form Revetment, Breakwater, Groin, and combinations of coastal protection structure. Abrasion that happening in Karyatani beach then dealt with revetment protection structure. Revetment placed along the coastline which have criteria 600 m, 1420 m, and 800 m with each gap in 80 m for term as river exit in that place. For Revetment Structure have Armor layer, filter layer, and toe protection that place in random way with using rubble mound which have different sizes. text |
