This project is located in Sub- GBLA street, Gedebage District, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Public Multisport Building comprises three separate buildings, which has the main building that consist of three floors and a basement at the level below. This project is planned to be built based on two main structural components: 1) steel trusses consisting of plane and space trusses and 2) reinforced concrete structures. The plane and space truss structures will be designed elastically to withstand the seismic load, whereas the reinforced concrete structure will be designed as a seismic-resistant building. The plane and space truss structures will be designed according to SNI 1729:2020 for structural steel design and its connection. In contrast, the reinforced concrete structure will be designed according to SNI 1726:2019 for the seismic-resistant building design, SNI 1727:2020 for the minimum load on buildings, and SNI 2847:2019 for the reinforced concrete buildings design. Structural calculation is done manually with engineering software products, such as CSI ETABS and CSI SAP software for modeling and SpColumn for column and shear wall detailing. The project has a soft soil classification; therefore, the site is categorized in Seismic Design Category D. Furthermore, the seismic-resistance system is used as a dual system consisting of a Special Moment Resisting Frame and a Special Structural Wall. The result was a structural design of structures and the design of plane and space truss structure elements (the design of the truss, connections, and base plate).
